How to export
Shiprocket weight discrepancy report
This is the one export that shows every shipment where a courier billed you on a higher weight than you booked. It takes about a minute to download.
Download the report
- 1Sign in to the Shiprocket panel (app.shiprocket.in).
- 2In the left menu, open Weight Panel → Weight Discrepancy.
- 3Optionally filter the date range you want to audit (include at least the last 30 days).
- 4Click Export to download the weight-discrepancy report as CSV.
- 5Upload the downloaded file here without opening and re-saving it in Excel first (Excel reformats dates and numbers).
What the file looks like
A CSV with one row per shipment that has a weight discrepancy. Typical columns are the AWB number, order ID, courier name, the weight you entered at booking, the volumetric weight, the applied weight, the weight the courier actually charged, the package dimensions, any extra charge in rupees, the date the discrepancy was raised, and Shiprocket’s dispute status. Header names vary between accounts, so ClaimDesk proposes a column mapping and asks you to confirm it with one click before anything is processed.
What ClaimDesk detects in it
- Weight overcharges: every shipment where the charged weight exceeds the applied weight, with the estimated amount you were overcharged and the indicative days left in the roughly 7-day dispute window. Where the export includes the extra charge amount we use it directly; otherwise the amount is estimated from published courier slabs and labelled as such.
- Entry mistakes on your side: rows where your own entered dimensions do not match the applied weight are flagged in a separate data-quality panel, so you do not file a dispute the courier would rightly reject.
All amounts are estimates from your uploaded data. Deadlines are indicative; verify with Shiprocket before filing.

Frequently asked questions
Where is the Weight Discrepancy panel in Shiprocket?
Sign in at app.shiprocket.in and open Weight Panel, then Weight Discrepancy, in the left menu. The Export button on that screen downloads the report as a CSV file.
Why should I not open the file in Excel before uploading?
Excel silently reformats dates and long numbers when it opens a CSV, and saving the file keeps those changes. Upload the file exactly as Shiprocket exported it so ClaimDesk reads the original values.
How far back should my export go?
Include at least the last 30 days. Shiprocket's weight dispute window is around 7 days from the discrepancy date (indicative, verify with Shiprocket), so recent rows are the ones you can still act on. Older rows are still worth uploading: they show you what has already expired.
Does ClaimDesk file the disputes for me?
No. ClaimDesk flags likely overcharges, estimates the amounts, and prepares a dispute pack with the evidence and pre-drafted dispute text. You review each claim against your Shiprocket panel and file it yourself.
